iGaming Ontario, the government agency in charge of online gambling in the province, lists 84 legal sites run by 49 companies. Here they are grouped by company.
This Ontario online casino list includes every site in iGaming Ontario's official directory, grouped by the company that runs it: 84 sites from 49 companies. iGaming Ontario is the government agency in charge of online gambling, also called iGaming, in the province. The operator is simply the business that owns and looks after a gambling site, and a single business may run more than one. We show the directory exactly as iGaming Ontario publishes it, with no sign-up deals and no paid placements. No company pays us to be listed or to appear higher up.
Is It Legal to Play on These Sites?
The AGCO (the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) writes the province's gambling rules and approves every company first.
Looking at all 84 sites, 74 offer an app through Canada's App Store or Google Play. Split out, that's 70 for iPhone and 52 for Android, with many sites on both. The rest run right in your mobile browser.
OLG and OLG.ca
OLG is the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, a provincial government agency.
OLG runs OLG.ca itself, outside the iGaming Ontario market. It's fully legal, but because OLG operates it on its own, it isn't one of the 84 listed sites.
PROLINE Sports Betting
A sportsbook is a site for betting on sports.
OLG's online sportsbook is PROLINE+, and you place those bets with an OLG.ca login. That's why it doesn't show up with the 34 sportsbooks listed by iGaming Ontario.
Finding a New Ontario Online Casino
Once a site becomes available to players, iGaming Ontario puts it in the directory. We pull the directory weekly, so any new site appears here shortly after being listed.
Rivalry is a betting site for sports and esports (video game contests), and Unibet is a casino and sports betting brand. Rivalry and Unibet aren't in the directory right now, so you can't count on them being open to players in Ontario. If you'd like a sportsbook, the 34 listed in the table are all approved to take bets here.
The iGaming Ontario List in Numbers
Plenty of sites carry more than one type of game, which is why the totals go past 84. Out of the 74 casino sites, 42 carry casino games only.
